I emailed Nord about the ND3 and as you can imagine I've had no response.

Who knows man?
It's ridiculous that it's just been left hanging but the fact it's not even on the website makes me think it won't happen now.

Come on Nord, sort it out!

Just called them and they said there will be no Nord Drum 3 without the pads. But the person I talked to was super nice, though! :)

hey there every body so i don't understand how this works can i ask a question here and get answers here?

i have two questions: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :geek: :ugeek:

is it possible to save an own drumkid i created on the nord drum 3 without overwriting stuff

:?:
and is it possible not to sequence them just to quantize them for a midi input because i bought them for the studio but know as i have them im more and more interested in using them live
so i want them to be quantized sometimes because it fits good to the sound.... :?:

thank you very much for your answers as long as i get one ;) because maybe this is not the right place :)

Just bought a second hand Nord Drum 2, I wanted the 3 without the pads but couldn't find it, what happened to ND3, I'm sure there were photos of it?

Hi cri5!

There was an image shown by Nord when the 3P was introduced to the public, check the beginning of this thread, that image was all there was, I think they never brought a prototype to one of the shows either, the image was removed from the website, it was never produced, not sure why.. I don’t think it will ever be

Have fun with your ND2, it’s a great instrument!!

Cheers,
Albert

Thanks for the info Albert, it's a shame there isn't a ND3. Looks like the ND2 has become highly sought after, I had to bid well over the odds to secure one.
