Velocity in samples
Is there a way to make a sample in which you can use velocity dynamics? I once made a piano sample, but I didn't like it because I didn't have velocity dynamics.

yes, for the Electro 3.
The NE3 has a quasi-velocity control for amplitude, and/ or filter, and/ or attack time.
Obviously you can't do any velocity switching of samples, but with the right combination of amplitude and filter control, it makes for a fairly playable piano.
This has to be activated for the sample in Nord Sample Editor (NSE)

Re: Velocity in samples
Hi,
The "Velocity Controlled Dynamics" work on Nord Stage 2 too
It's only the checkbox that is specific to NE3, as stated in the manual :

Check this box if you wish to have the velocity sensitivity turned on in
the Nord Electro 3 as the default setting when the Sample Instrument is
selected. This function is not available in a Nord Wave.

Re: Velocity in samples
On the Nord Stage you don't need that, because you can use the Velocity Dynamics controls of the synth sectionthemixtape wrote:The big question which I'm not sure has yet been answered... does it work in Stage 3?
