Good Day Everyone,
I am new to the site after recently purchasing my Nord Electro 3 HP 73 (that i absolutely love).
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of cable i need to purchase, so that i can play my ipod through the 'monitor in' input on the keyboard. I have tried looking on the internet but i have become a little stuck.
Thanks alot.
Craig, Grimsby.

Re: Nord Electro 3 - Monitor In Cable
Hello Craig and welcome to the forum.
You need a cable with two (male) 3.5 mm stereo jacks. Something like this:

These cables should be fairly easy to find, either at shops selling electronics or online.

Re: Nord Electro 3 - Monitor In Cable
Hello,
I plugged the same cable as the picture above from my Ipad and I have no sound comes out.
If I understand the sound of NE3 should mix with the release of my I pad and the output level is by controlling the overall volume?
There may be a system parameter to enable it?

Hello Chafoinbilly and welcome to the forum.
As far as I know you can only hear it via the headphone output, as it is meant for playing along to. If you want to mix the sound of your NE3 with something else (the sound coming from your iPad, which might be a song or something) and want to send that to speakers, you'll have to use some external mixer to do that. A small and not very expensive like the Behringer Xenyx 502 might fit the bill for that (I'm thinking of home use here).

Re: Nord Electro 3 - Monitor In Cable
One simple solution is to use the second audio input of the control pod of the loudspeakers. Check the picture in http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/en/home-and-pe ... er-system/. I use this configuration most of the time (to connect a laptop) since it is so simple and it minimizes the amount of extra stuff on the living room table.

Re: Nord Electro 3 - Monitor In Cable
Which PA/headphones/Speakers are you using??
If they have a second input, could work this way. Or, just connect the headphones output to your PA. A Stereo 6.3mm to two Mono 6.3mm cable could do the job.
Alternatively, a small mixer is also a way to go as suggested!
