Hello Hammondman,
The MIDI light on the Nord only illuminates (flashes) when receiving MIDI from an external source.
Please clarify your setup. What is the source of MIDI?
Does the Electro act as master controller for the module, or does some third source act as controller for both?
Either way, I would re-check the connections (Out verses In)
Cheers, Hanon

Hello Hammondman,
what make and model is the MIDI module?
The MIDI activity light on the module is a good sign that the Electro is transmitting MIDI.
However, there are 16 different channels of MIDI, and there may be a mismatch between the transmit channel # of the Electro and the expected receive channel number of the Module.
Cheers, Hanon

Re: Midi Issue
You may be able to set the midi channel on your module to something like 'all' or 'omni' - in that case it won't care on which channel it receives data but will simply work. As Hanon says, there's a very good chance this is caused by a midi channel mismatch.
