Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
Check that out, I was looking random videos of stands (I need an ultralight one, probably I'm gonna get the Hercules KS110B for my NS2 Compact) and I stumbled into this.
I think it is a very interesting concept, definitely worth a try if you want an ultra customized stand.

Re: Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
Interesting stuff! For ultra-customized solutions a good idea, I'm sure. For the standard applications something "ordinary" is probably cheaper
But thanks for posting this!

Re: Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
This looks good and appears to be rock solid. The only thing I don't like about this stand is that it does not fold very small. I just purchased the K&M Baby Spider Pro and it collapses into a very small package with no removable parts.

Re: Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
Yea DJ, I know what you mean. It is not very practical but looks cool any way.
I also own a KM keyboard stand, but the Spider Pro Version (meaning the big one). I wanted to get the baby version due to weight, but I couldn't find one. ATM my Z-Stand I use for practices weights almost the same!!

Re: Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
Hi, Gustavo-
Sweetwater now carries the bigger Spider Pro and can order the Baby Spider. I bought mine from them. It is a special order and cannot be returned, however and is about the same price as the big one.
You won't want to return it, as it is well-made and stable, as you already know, but you can get it from them. Took about two weeks-

Re: Gibraltar DIY Keyboard Stands
Well... unfortunately I already got a Z Stand, may not be as cool looking, but it does the job.
Also, ATM I am spending most of my savings I'd normally use for this on a new laptop. I've survived around 1 year with a measly netbook since my extremely good laptop broke (it fell, and it fell hard). But when/if I want to get that baby spider pro, I'll definitely check Sweetwater.
