Hi Titanium,

Thank you for the NSP file of yesterday. i loaded it and had a play with it today.

i will used the Piano and Double Bass patch as that will be quite useful to me. And the Elec Piano Pad was also very nice.

i noticed that you have sustain and Pitch Stck active on some sections while not on others. i am not sure why you favour this configuration esp. on a LAYERED Patch as i have never assigned Pitch Change to occur on only one Part ?? Regarding the Layer Patch, did you set the Organ Section settings with a view to being able to Layer/activate this at any point of performance ?? Or is the Organ not intended to be used for this particular Patch ??

Something else i noticed was that you did not have the Volume up to full (for the loudest part). i am guessing that this is because you have all your Presets (on your keyboard) set at the same level for volume consistency, and so you lowered the volume of this Patch to make it level with the other Patches on your keyboard (though i could be wrong). i started doing this myself (about 2 x months ago when i joined this forum and decided to personalise my Nord Stage), however i gave up after a few days because it was really too much work trying to match everything to exactly the same volume. Unless any Patches stand out like a sore thumb, then i leave them as be and just tweak the Volume Dial on gigs as and when needed.

Thank you for your kind words regarding my two 'Funky Comping' NSP files !!

On the topic of the pitch stick I do this so that I can form a split and be able to play one synth like a lead on one hand/pad on the other.I save organ patches with my other patches to save room. The volume leveling was challenging but I felt it was important considering somebody might (or me) might change patch and make a very loud noise compared to the previous! But playing live I adjust the volume.

i had a listen to the 'Wurly&Synth' program you kindly sent me. i have changed it somewhat for it to suit my needs.

i put Sustain and Pitch Stick on all 3 parts.

Increased the overall Reverb amount.

i took the Synth #1 out of Mono mode.

Transposed Synth #2 up an octave.

Put a Phaser FX on Synth #2 and also routed it thru the Leslie (in the Organ Section).

And added Tremelo to Synth #1.

i also brought all the Volume levels of all 3 parts to the max, as well as Morphing one of the parts to the Mod Wheel.

Now it sounds a little more etheral with the sweeping FX of the Leslie/Phaser and the pulsating Tremelo !! i can send it back to you if you would like to listen to it ?? Though you might not like what i have done !!!!
