Hi!

I recently got a Nord stage 73. A composer friend of mine had written an ensemble piece with a midi keyboard in it, and he asked me to play. So we sat down on the Nord and created a sound (synth pad) to his liking. Then, I saved the sound into Live 1 slot.

Now he wants to have this sound transfered to another Nord, what would be the easiest way to do this? We don't remember the exact configuration we did on the synth board, so I assume it has to be done via a computer.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

The easiest way that I know of would be to do the following:

Save it from Live to a program slot (Programs in the D section are duplicates of the A section, so you can safely overwrite one without really losing it), by hitting Shift-Save, then Save again, Live mode to switch to Program mode, the D section, then use the knob to find one to overwrite. Or something similar to that, you'll be able to figure it out.

Then, open up the Nord Sound manager, and export the program you just saved, and send it to your friend!

wich are the two nord models you have to exchange programs? nord stage classic? ex? 2?
not all nord stage models have compatible program format...

That's a good point, I was assuming the same model (and the Stage 2, at that), which may not be the case.
