No, Nicko, I noticed this behavior when I first got the thing too, I'm just revisiting it now - don't be alarmed about the upgrade as I've heard no other bad things about it..

Yep, it's as plain as day, no idea why I didn't hear it before. I guess I rarely listen to the tone clean and didn't hear a difference once the Leslie did it's thing - is the Vintage 3 setting really that much noisier?

I hear a difference in leakage. No leakage at "clean" setting, little in Vintage 1 and more in vintage 2. It is not the same on every note played, some seem to have more than others.

That actually corresponds to the leakage behavior on my A-100, if you play a F# on my A-100 and then tap an F# pedal with no pedal drawbars pulled, these fairly loud high harmonics come in. But only on the F#.

You are not crazy. When selecting the v3 setting on my NE 3 you could hear major leakage without even pressing a key, and it was documented in the manual, I believe-

I knew of that difference, I guess I didn't know there was as much difference between V2 and V3. I loved the constant leakage, it sounds like some of my favorite organs..
