i realize this is a Nord Stage forum, but i could not find an Electro users forum..thought somebody here would be able
to shed some light on this....
just got my shiny used electro 73 shipped and when i opened the case a small white plastic tab fell out. there seem to be
loose parts rattling around in the casing also. i tested the keyboard and seem to be playing fine. it's just kind of disconcerting to hear the rattling !
i would like to know if there is any trick to opening the casing and seeing what is loose/broken.
just want to make sure i don't take out any screws that don't need to be.
thank you for your help..this is my first Nord and am looking forward to gigging with it.

Re: open casing of Electro 73
Hi,
well there is A Electro Yahoo group I believe amongst others.
But the caseing should be similar in any case. I just opened my Stage 73 some time ago cause some pieces of paper slipped into it. It is pretty easy to open, just unscrew the wooden side pads, then all screws on the back and finally one (a long one, rather in the center) screw of the back (the rest can stay there). Then just open the cover and try not to destroy the cables but there is quite enough room to maneouvre).
Seems prette clean and well arranged inside another sign of a good job of Clavia!
Rattling is really annoying so unless you find the cause it might be a service issue??!
GOOD LUCK

Hi jazzfer,
AWESOME!!!! Looks fabulous!!
How did you made the Stage Legs fit your Electro????
(I would love to make them fit my Stage compact cause there are so cool!
What does it take to make them fit?? Drill some holes, other stuff?? Would be very interested in some more information!!
And you are using these ones?? http://www.thomann.de/de/clavia_nord_st ... _stand.htm

Re: open casing of Electro 73
Wow!
I would love to hear how you made those legs fit too!
Did you have to drill holes for the base plate to fit? Does it overlap and need shortening?
Cheers,
Manuel
