Hello Everyone.. I have a Nord Electro 5D. What i was wanting to know is will MainStage change the tones on the actual keyboard? I currently have the Setlist app on my iPad that does this function and it is very useful but i would prefer to have the capability to change soft synths on the same program as the Nord tones. I know you can import soft synths into the program and it change the tones but i was wondering if it would act as a setlist for the Nord keyboard itself as well.

Yes it can, read the Mainstage manual, External Instruments channel strips paragraph

Hi,

Yes you can use Mainstage the same way as Setlistmaker/Bandhelper.
If you make a new external instrument channel strip, you can define the LSB/MSB/Program change on the Midi Output tab of the Channel Inspector.
