hello everybody,
I have just bought a pair of Yamaha DXR8 speaker. Excuse me if my question seem stupid: i want to use the screw holes (normally scheduled for brackets or eye bolts), but there is a piece of plastic which is covering it. I don't know how remove it. Do an user have an idea?
Thank you in advance!
Nico

Re: Question about Yamaha DXR screw hole
Hello,
Sorry for my stupid post. In fact, what I was trying to remove was just a piece of adhesive (but rather well fixed, it misled me!).
If it interests someone, I used the screw holes available on the speaker to screw a rod (8mm diam.). I use it to maintain the speaker in floor angled position . It does not cost anything, and it's stable. For those who think that the DXR8 can't be used as wedge (it will work also with QSC8, I saw a video on YT of a guy who did it).
I hope my english is not too bad. If ti's not the case, I'm sorry for that!
