Hi guys,
Is it possible to play Slot A sound with Nord itself and Slot B with external keyboard (via MIDI set somehow?)

Re: Nord 2 Ex Slots
Yes, there are multiple ways to do that. I haven't tried all this, but I think it's right:
You can use either the "MIDI Slot A/B Channel" function or the "Dual KB" functions described in the manual. The first is a way to do it globally, the second is something you can alter program-by-program (or easily turn on and off on the fly). Other differences are that the first way still lets you layer A and B on the Nord itself if you want, the second does not; whereas the second allow you to silently alter the Panel B sound using the various front panel conrols while playing Panel A, something you can't do with the first method.
If you are trying to externally play just a particular Slot B instrument sound (from among piano, organ, or synth), a third way is to use the MIDI Piano Channel, MIDI Organ channel, or MIDI Synth channel function which will allow you to play that sound from the external keyboard, while leaving the other sounds still available to layer via the Nord's own keyboard.
