I control my lower manual via midi on my Hammond XK5 with my NS3 by toggling the external switch. If it’s on, midi is sent, if it’s off I just play the NS3 by its self. Been using it that way since last year very successfully.

Updated to 1.36 last week and discovered at a gig last night (of course) that this is now broken. No matter what I do, the NS3 transmits midi. I can’t turn if off unless I unplug the cable. The external button has zero effect.

I thought I was loosing my mind. Ok, well that’s debatable.. I went thru all menus on both kbs and checked everything, however nothing I tried made any difference.

is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Check the global midi channel under midi setting. Make sure that is set to "off"
