Order sounds into types?

Postby Voyager » 16 Feb 2018, 13:06

I've got the Nord Stage 3
'fraid I'm a guitarist really, so the manual is making me glaze over!
1. Does anyone know if you can, for example get all the 'string sounds' in a list to go through them to see which one you want to use?
2. I was expecting a few more Mellotron sounds when I bought the Stage 3 , is there a hidden place where there might be more , or how can I get more?
[I think there are only about 23 available to me at the moment]

1. Hold Shift and turn the big knob to enter List mode. Then you can use the buttons below the screen to select category view and step left and right through the categories, scrolling the list with the knob.

2. Only 23 available on the Nord homepage, too.

You can also use sound managers and sort them and then click through them. I have found that easier when I am looking for a sound.

There are many more Mellotron sounds you can download, see

http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libr ... ollections

60+ Mellotron sounds (mostly available looped or unlooped), plus dozens more "non standard" ones in the "Master Tapes" section, plus dozens of Chamberlin sounds.

Gosh, you're right. I completely overlooked that!
