Tap tempo not working

Hello
I just received a second hand Electro 4. When I try to use the tap tempo, it doesn’t seem to work.
It is not changing the tempo after tapping repeatedly. Also, when I try to change the tempo by holding down the button and the arrow keys, it doesn’t have an effect. Am I doing something wrong or is it defective?

Hi,

Probably the tempo you are trying to change is set to master clock. Switch it off and then it should work.
