Hold shift and press “store” to “store as…”
Then you can change name and category on the device by holding the corresponding soft button (below the display) and turning the knob.

I find Song Mode useful. I usually only need one program per song (I have the A1 as well for sound contribution), so I labeled the songs 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, etc. I then just take the setlist I am given before the gig and put the songs in the order of the list. This is infinitely better than the Stage 2 where I had to actually rearrange the songs for every gig using the Sound Manager. I can do this without a computer at all. In addition, there are plenty of songs so that I can store Gig 1 and Gig 2 songs in advance for the weekend.
