Hi,

I want to update my stage 3 from 1.12 to 1.28.
When I connect the stage to the Laptop and Start the update program the stage turned off and on... thats all.

Since 30 Minutes the stage says "ready for update" while the Software says "rebooting to update mode"...


And now?

Solved... I hard-quitted the provedure.
After a restart of the Laptop everything worked fine!

During the update process, the Nord reboots twice. Depending on what you try to flash it from (Mac or PC/which OS version/drivers), the computer may sometimes loose the connection to the Nord as the driver disconnects and the flashing program apparently can forget to re-connect. Sometimes it works just to leave the Nord as it is (in "ready do be flashed" mode) and the restart the flashing program, since it correctly identifies the state of the Nord also when it is in "ready to be flashed" mode.

I had this same issue. I'm running Windows 10. I had to install the Windows the Clavia USB driver manually as described in the update instructions.

Googled the driver. Found it here.

Just encountered this issue while updating my nord electro 6d from OS v1.20 to 2.5x. The keyboard's screen said ready for update, but the update program on my mac (catalina) said Rebooting to prepare for update.

The solution was to not touch the keyboard, "X" out of the update program, then relaunch it. Worked fine after that!

Thanks for this. Same issue with Mac updating Electro 6 to version 2.62 - closed the window on the confuser and relaunched, as above. Worked instantly.
