Advice on second keyboard purchase similar to Nord Stage 2
I need a second keyboard and am thinking a mini version of my Nord Stage 2 HA88, which is now maxing out on memory, would be great. Looking for something lighter but with synth, piano and organ. Its difficult to tell on websites what there is and I don't want to spend more than £1500 max. Can anyone advise what I should be looking at. I saw a Nord Stage 2 SW 73 semi weighted waterfall keyboard being played recently but these seem to be obsolete now.

Hmm, the combination synth, piano and organ is still rare when looking at keyboards today, for some odd reason.... but here are a few choices:
Within your budget:
Roland VR-730 (maybe not the greatest sounding clonewheel, but decent piano and synth)
https://www.thomann.de/gb/roland_vr_730.htm
Kurzweil Artis 7
(not a true clonewheel, but almost... not true waterfall either - the keys are piano shaped with a small lip at the front. Otherwise the same keys as in clonewheels - Fatar TP-8. Really powerful synth though, and a with Steinway sample that sounds nice)
https://www.thomann.de/gb/kurzweil_arti ... arch_prv_3
Hammond SK1-73 (well, almost within budget - no pitch/modwheel for synth playing though)
https://www.thomann.de/gb/hammond_sk1_73.htm
Above your budget:
Vox continental 73
https://www.thomann.de/gb/vox_continental_73.htm
then of course there's the Stage 3 sw73....
But maybe a used Stage 2 sw73 be somehing, anyway?

The difference between the piano and organ versions of the TP 8 is more than waterfall-vs-lip. The overall dimensions of the keys are different.

Wow thanks for the advice and links. Keyboard is on the Christmas list so this is a great start! (Stage 3 might have to wait for next Christmas though!!)

I own the NS288 and I took the NS2EX73 on top of it. Great combination !
May change the NS288 later for either : GrandStage, RD2000, Kronos LS...

For the Top 40 music I play, the NS3C provides all the piano/organ I need, so I added the A1. I essentially have 2 pianos, 2 organs and 4 synths-
