Hey, does anyone have this problem too?

Which release are you on? If not 1.26, try to upgrade and see if the problem is maybe gone then; seems like it''s a bug-fix release anyway

Yep. They say that 1.26 has "MIDI: Improved handling of large amounts of incoming or outgoing MIDI data"

This might hopefully solve MIDI overload or stuck issues, which we've been talking about here: nord-stage-forum-f3/ns3-bug-reports-etc-t13517-230.html

I have experienced the same problem… Midi'd up to Roland modules..... running 1.26 OS… Extremely irritating and inconvenient in the middle of the song… Only way to stop, is to shut machine off ....

Me too! Same problem using NS3 running 1.24 OS to control a Kronos. More annoying was that "panic" (shift+Transpose) didn't seem to be clearing it, so I also had to shut the NS3 off to stop.
I plan to try again using 1.26 to see if it's an improvement, and also to see if switching to USB MIDI (was using traditional MIDI) makes any difference.

Hi! Please report us if 1.26 help these issues or not. On the other hand, user "bjv042069" seems to have these issues while using 1.26. Personally I used once these trad. MIDI cables between NS3 and Virus and it was a nightmare for same reasons (I had probably 1.24. or earlier OS that time.). Since that I've been only using USB-midi and iConnect interface. No MIDI problems at all...

Finally got the chance to try OS 1.26 plus USB MIDI tonight - not a single stuck note all evening! Not good problem-solving technique to change 2 things at once - so I'll try next time with traditional MIDI....

Presently, I’m using my NS288EX and my XF7 using standard midi cables.
After my December gigs, I’ll start using my NS3 with my XF7 and I’ll use my same setup with standard midi cables.
I’m hoping not to have any issue...
