Hi all,
For me it would be a GREAT improvement, if I had an option to route (monitor) audio in to other Channels 1-4 as well or at least to main channels 1 and 2. In this case it would not be a only a "monitor in" audio but anything from any sound source to mix with NS. For example, at moment I am messing with synth/drum -loop stuff and I'd like to use it together with my NS. Of course, it can be done with mixer or soundcard or taking audio out from headphone output, but wouldn't it be nice to have this mixing option in Stage itself... Probably this can't be done with NS3 hardware (or who knows?) but in future models perhaps?
Or go even further: audio in source could be an "oscillator option" in synth...? How much fun could be done with that, not only modulating audio with filters, LFOs etc. but also with all those great effects.

Re: Request: Audio in options
On the NS3 the audio in (monitor in) is routed to Headphones but also Out 1/2, if I remember well...

Re: Request: Audio in options
That is correct. user manual:
MONITOR IN
1/8 inch jack for connecting devices such as smartphones, tablets or
computers to the Nord Stage 3. This is useful for playing and rehearsing
to pre-recorded music or a metronome, or to use an additional sound
source on stage. The Monitor In signal is routed to the Headphones
and Ch 1&2 outputs.
E The Nord Stage 3 Master Level control does not affect the level of
the Monitor In signal.

Re: Request: Audio in options
a BIG thanks guys! I didn't know that! I was assuming that it's just routed to headphones (like it was before, if I remember right). For me it's much more useful that way!
But: how about using it like I thought it was meant, as a monitor in (click, or aux (drummer, singer etc.) from mixer. etc.)?? I mean something which is meant to only just NS3 player himself. Now it's coming out from ch 1&2 which might be a problem...

For that use case you'll stll need a (small) headphone mixer to mix the click/aux with the NS3 headphones out (or, as analternative, have them directly pre-mixed from the main mixer)

Re: Request: Audio in options
or route your NS3 out to 3&4 and leave 1&2 unused. Or am I missing something?

On the NS2 you lose the common effects (Rotary, Comp and Reverb) on 3&4, maybe on NS3 instead this is no longer the case (? not clear reading NS3 manual)
