Just wondering if there is any way to view the contents/data of a .ns2p file without actually owning/connecting up to a NS2 instrument via the sound manager with USB etc?

Nope, that would require an Editor application while the NSM is only a Librarian.

technically speaking, it is probably possible to view the file contents, but they're probably in hexdec and without a map telling you what data is located where in the file, being able to view this hexdec code will be quite useless (like this response)
