Your first NL2 -file sounds like a distorted guitar ! Nice !! The NL A1 is a real (sounding) beauty !!!

Osc: square + sync, Lfo Amt 5.5, Lfo 2.2 tri - changing the harmonics constantly
Mod Env: A 0.5, D 0, R 0 - just enough to give a cool "chaff", Mod Env Amp 10.0
Filter: LP24, freq full, res 0, kb track 1
Amp Env: A 0, D full, R 0 - on/off
Unison 3 - there can never be too much
Rev Stage 1 3.0 - as always
Chorus 3.0 - it's there, why not use it
Vibrato to wheel - why not?

The more I tweak my NLA1, the more I love it! :D
