Hi People,
Thought I'd share this as I've been looking at keyboard legs for a while for my NE5D 61. I eventually thought I'd try this stand £60. Fits well without 'overhanging' the depth of the keyboard like some stands. After use you loosen by hand the 4 bolts (one on each leg) and the legs fold down.
Slightly fiddly, takes about 2 minutes, then the legs kind of flop around. But I usually wrap my multiplug and kettle leads round my stand anyway so it's not a propblem (could use a bungee cord instead).
I tried this stand at a wedding gig last night, and I'm SO GLAD I DID! It was a marquee and we were on very uneven ground (basically grass with a thin cover). My old X-Frame stand would have been very wobbly, but the new QuickLok was very stable and comfortable to play at. Looked good too!
I was sitting, but the legs do extend and it would be possible to stand up too. Worth checking out if you are looking for something similar.......
(Oh FYI I have customised the look of the NE5D with my own wood ends, and a vinyl black sticker - see my other posts!)

Quiklok makes really good stands! I have the one with the four legs sort of like a spider. It has push pins instead of screws. You're right about uneven ground. Thanks for sharing, Accordionman !

Hello, it looks far better with legs
Have you thought about using the Korg ST-SV1 stand ?
With thought like drilling a hole in the telescopic middle bar to reduce it's width from 73 to 61 keys.

Yes, I looked at that one too. The advantage with the QuickLok is that I can just use it as it is, and the keyboard sits on it firmly. Wasn't sure if the Korg stand would work so well.
