Electro 3 Error Message
My Electro 3 has recently been showing "error" on the menu when I turn it on. It still plays if I change the program but I have no idea what that means. Can anyone help?

Re: Electro 3 Error Message
Same problem here (perhaps): my NE3 shows "err kbd rea" on bootup. After pressing any program key the device begins to work.
I noticed that some keys are not tracking the velocity correctly.
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Electro 3 Error Message
Hello all! My NE3 is over 5 yrs old, so no longer under warranty. I just had the rubber contact strip replaced for one of the keys, at my local music store. They're a Nord dealer, and reputable. When I got the NE3 home, it had the same "err kbd rea" on bootup. Same as dBalage's comment above, after pressing any program it began to work. But after a few days, pressing buttons/programs did not work; couldn't get past the error. So I took it back to the repair guy, where he opened it back up and ensured all connections were secure-- after which he was able to boot it multiple times with no error. I got it home and it errored again!!! My electricity is fine and all conditions are the same as before I took it in for repair the first time. I know this thread is a few years old. But did any of you ever come up with a solution or explanation for this? Should I do a factory reset or flash the firmware?
