Any other blind NS users?
Hi.
I got a Nord Stage EX a while ago, and while browsing the web today I stumbled across this forum.
I'm wondering if there are any other blind people using nord stage? If so, do you have any tips for a relative newbie?
I'm very happy with it, but if you've accumulated any awesome accessibility strategies in general, I'd love to hear them.
Best regards, Malthe.

The great Swedish keyboardplayer Mats Öberg (who happens to be blind) is a Nord Stage user.

Hey guys.
Thanks for the replies
Hapbard:
That would be great! I think electro supports sound manager, and I'm curious how he is handling certain aspects of that app.
janka:
Awesome! I'm gonna have to check him out and listen to him after this lesson ends I wasn't aware of him.

Hi Malthe, and welcome to the forum!
Mats Öberg is indeed a great player to check out!
On a sidenote, while I tried the accessibility of this forum to make as easy as possible, I am not an expert and if you have any suggestions please let me know!
Cheers, Johannes

Re: Any other blind NS users?
Hi Johannes.
Thanks a lot!
That he is, I just listen to a couple of things done by him on youtube.
I find the accessibility excellent - I really liked your alternative captcha on user registration .
I haven't checked out the flash player for the patch samples in mp3 yet, but I think you can download them as attachments anyway, so that's perfect if my screenreader decides not to work with the flash .
Cheers, Malthe.

Re: Any other blind NS users?
Thanks for the info! I see that the flash player could be difficult - Flash is a strange thingie.
I will have to check if it works as a standard MP3 download sample as well. For now, I think if a mp3 file is converted into the flash player, the download link disappears. But it works on tapatalk for instance (for mobiles). If you cannot play/download the mp3 file, I could add a real download link to each player.
EDIT: Just checked that the MP3 download link should be there if flash fails, so it should work.
Hehe, the captcha works excellent so far. I would like to kick it up a notch, but so far it still keeps spam out. Glad you liked it

Johannes:
Yeah, flash is sometimes strange with assistive technology, this is the case with this player. It's no problem though, since the attachments list is perfectly readable
Btw I really appreciate a forum like this, it's awesome to be able to share patches, tips etc
Hapbard:
Many thanks! Awesome
