Hi All,
I have a Nord Lead 2X and since yesterday he doesn't startup properly anymore if I push the power button. At various attempts the program display will say either 1 or 0 and most of the times nothing at all.
Is somebody familiar with this problem? Any suggestions before seeking for a repair service?
Thanks!

Re: Nord Lead 2X - Startup Problem
Try unplugging the MIDI input, or stop any midi data from going into it on startup, especially MIDI clock.

Thanks, that seems to solve the issue. Is that a common error with the 2X or other Nord gear? Never had this problem with any of my other gear.

Re: Nord Lead 2X - Startup Problem
Yes it is normal. It happens on NL1, 2 and 2X as far as I remember, but not with the NL4. I don't know about the others.
Anyway, I'm glad it works.

I can confirm this behaviour with my NL2X.
When connected to MIDI, always start the Nord Lead first, then the other MIDI devices.

I'm having the same issue.
I'm not using any other midi devices though.

Have you tried to disconnect anything else except the power cable?

Re: Nord Lead 2X - Startup Problem
I was first getting three dashes on the display. Sometimes the LEDs would light briefly. Sometimes I would get a "0".
The fuse looks fine, but I have not yet tested it with a multimeter or tried replacing it.
I wasn't really using midi, but I have one, so I tried plugging it in and pulling it out.
I popped the memory card and it powered on.
