Hi, I need to configure the nord drum to receive ONLY the chanel 10.
I use the chanel 1 for an other synth module and, the MIDI IN of the Nord drum comes after this module by MIDI thru.
Is it possible?
Thanks!
Vendôme Uhl
EDIT : I found the solution : I set GLOBAL to 10 and Chanel to OFF
It works perfectly!

Re: NORD DRUM 3P MIDI Chanel Configuration
Hey, since you figured that out. Did you have the problem of Channel 1 being triggered with the other Channels? I can't seem to figure this out. I am sending midi to my interface and receiving via my interface but on the receiving end I am getting Channel 1 triggered along with the other Channels. Any suggestions? - Thanks

Re: NORD DRUM 3P MIDI Chanel Configuration
Hi Tiand,
What do you want to do, and what is your current (MIDI) setup?
The Nord Drum sends MIDI on the Global MIDI channel only, the individual MIDI channels cannot be used to send MIDI from the Nord Drum (2 or 3P). So if you hit a pad, the 3P will send the corresponding note on the global MIDI channel, the note numbers are also set in the MIDI menu. The individual MIDI channels that can be set per Channel of the ND2 or 3P, can be used to contol sound parameters of the individual Channels, or to play melodies with an individual drum sound of a Channel. Unless you want to do one of these things, it's best to switch the individual MIDI channel off for all 6 Channels, only use the Global MIDI channel. If you do want to use the individual MIDI channels, make sure you set a different MIDI channel for each, and yet a different MIDI channel for the general MIDI channel, unless you're absolutely sure what you're doing.
Cheers,
Albert
