Electro 5D with Yamaha FC7 problem

My problem is that the volume range is limited to 70% to 100%. In other words I can't dial it back to 0%. The Nord menu for the expression panel is set at Yamaha FC7, and the gain setting is preset at "1". This setting changes the minimum for 70% at 1 to 80% at 10, but I can't go lower than 70%. Is this a polarity issue?

I reported this to Nord a few months ago. I have the same problem. The FC7 setting is mis-programmed. Use one of the other settings. I ended using the Roland EV7 setting.
