Hi,
I've owned my E5D for a few weeks and love (almost) everything about it so far! I have VERY limited midi knowledge.
I have figured out how to have my laptop play 2 tracks while I play a 3rd on the E5D, but only using the programs/samples currently selected.
My goal is to have the laptop play, for example, bass AND guitar samples while I play organ or mellotron, etc on the Nord. Is it possible for the laptop to access the internal sounds while I have other programs selected on the Nord? If not, any simple suggestions? I dont know anything about Virtual Instruments or modules.
Sorry if my terminology is off....just starting out but very ambitious!
Thanks!
Alan

Re: Newbie Midi Question
HI, i think electro 5D can only play 2 sounds at the same time, but no 3.
You can multitrack your electro 5d, and have many sounds playing, while you play live on top.
