I think one of the more powerful ways you can modulate the "Wavetables" since you can't do the fundamental scrubbing of a real Wavetable, is through the NL4's fm functions. Preferably pick one of the "Digital" Wavetables then pick a sine on osc2. Turn one of the fm buttons on and now adjust the pitch of the osc2 sine, amazing this Nord!. Very easy frequency modulation coupled with the more digital wavetables (seem to have heavier harmonics than the triangle or saw) yield some amazing sounds. Perhaps not what you wanted to accomplish with these Wavetables but fm here make these wavetables being here much more fun.
