NordElectro3 MIDI OUT issue (for use with Logic&Mainstage)

Hello, will the MIDI OUT allow me to talk to DAW (Logic or Mainstage, for example)?
I'm not getting any signal when trying to connect to Logic.

(I know the midi is not supported via USB in Nord Electro 3, and that is only functions as a data transfer,
but I still hope I'll get my favourite keys working with Mainstage via Midi Out..!)

This should work. I use my Electro 3 all the time as a master keyboard in Cubase. Maybe a MIDI channel mismatch? Did you define the board in your DAW with the MIDI interface you use?
