Hi.
I have recently purchased a stage 2 ex88. I want to add new sounds but don't know what the difference is in File sizes. I.e why are there several sizes and what are the differences. Why choose a small size over a large size if you have enough memory. Surely a piano is a piano what ever the size and does it sound different. Am I being dumb (probably).

Difference in sympathetic string resonances, and how many keys are individually sampled rather than "stretched" from nearby notes to save memory.
