Hi all,
I have just purchased a new stage 2 ex. How do I turn off the program menu in order to play solo piano sounds without any other sound or effect in the background. I.e. I am scrolling through various banks and trying new sounds then I just want to play from the piano section. If I click the piano on I still have various sound and effects running. Is there a way to cancel out the program bank and default to just piano.

A program ALWAYS includes all six engines - two pianos, two organs, and two synths (one each for slots A and B). This is true for the "Live" slots, as well.

There is no other "mode" the Nord could be in.

If you wish to try the different pianos, turn on only the piano section on only one slot, and press the "model" button to cycle through the different samples.
