my knickers not twisted, and I wasn't trying to bust your chops at all -- more like a heads up to moderator to move it to a more appropriate place

as an ongoing conversation it really doesn't matter where a thread goes, but over time all (or many) of these threads become meaningful archives for future forum members, many of them noobs, and if they are looking for something meaningful on a given topic they will go looking for it in the appropriate forum -- and not find it if it's located somewhere else.

Perhaps more importantly to any thread poster seeking a response/answer to a question which holds some importance for them, posting it in the correct forum will likely ensure that it will be seen by a larger number of people who may have a meaningful response/answer. Better success rate.
