Hi, I was wondering what is the latest stage2ex 88 revision and how do you find it written on the unit?

2.24 is the newest OS version available. When you first turn on your Nord, you will see your current OS in the display window while it is booting up.

thanks but i was referring to hardware revision

Sorry, I don't know that one off the top of my head, but I can look at my NS2EX later. I don't believe they've done more than one hardware rev of that keyboard in the 1.5 years it has been around, but I could be wrong. The NS2 had a couple of minor changes over the years.

I don't think NS 2 EX has a "revision"version....
I used to have a Nord Stage 2 Revision A.....I think they did a small number of units , minor differences ( some different button etc)
but it was NS 2 , not NS 2 EX

Right, only NS2 had a rev. A (which lasted just a few weeks, btw) and a rev. B (final); NS2EX never had any further hw revision after its initial one, so far.

Yes, we have reviews inside the Nord Stage 2 EX. My arrived with revision AB v3.0. A friend of mine has a Rev B v1.5.

Those may be revisions of HW boards but not of main characteristics, as instead happened with NS2 rev A which was missing the Hold button in the synth section and the KeybGate function compared to rev B.

Mine outside to the right of the chassis reads "Clavia DMI AB 2.1". Does your ns2ex say AB 3.0 on the outside as well?

I'm just worried that the shop where I purchased it from might have given me an old stock unit:
I bought it from a shop NEW in October 2016 however I later found on the box the delivery sticker stating that the distributor first sent it to the shop in early June, 4.5 months earlier. It's no biggie, I feel a bit OCD sometimes!

when did you buy yours magnoteclas and when did your friend? does it say 3.0 on the outside?
