Hi,
I'm trying to connect my standard nord to my laptop via the usb port in the back of the nord. and then use it as a midi keyboard to be used within Ableton Live.
I plug it in, check the MIDI settings in Ableton and it picks up 'Nord piano' but it appears no signal is being sent for some reason? As at the top right of Ableton a square will flash if it's receving MIDI signal.
I've tried turning local off in the midi settings etc but no hope yet.
Any help appreciated,

You need to set the NP Global Channel to USB1-16, default is 1 and 1-16 settings are via MIDI DIN, check the manual...
