Re: How much do you charge for a gig?

Where I live, my band charged between €400 and €800 last year (6 people with instruments, full PA etc.) In Paris, at our band's level, prices are slightly lower because there is much more offer/competition.

Hi All,
Old thread but we've been playing recently on few gigs, 22 to 30 songs, in two or three sets, 2 hours to 3 hours depending on the breaks between sets and we were paid between 1200CAN$ and 1500CAN$, 5 musicians + a sound check guy, just so you know. In Winnipeg, it's way easier to get proper pay than in Cold lake, Alberta, where I was last year (Small town, 15.000 people only)...So, as some of you said, it all depends on where you live and how is the competition.
Bye
