Nord Lead 3 unison/stack detune

Hello,
I am kind of a newbie at Nord and synthesis.
I was wondering what’s the function of UNISON/Stack Detune knob on the Nord Lead 3 and at what "unison amount” the note I play will be perceived as out of tune.
I noticed that when the stack/detune feature is enabled an the amt is at a 3/4 level,the patch I am using sounds more "juicy" and interesting
