Hello,
I'm seriously considering the NE5. I know it's been out for a couple of years. Is there any chatter in regards to if/when there will be an NE6? Just wondering if it might be wise to wait it out. Thanks!!

Re: NE5/NE6
No chatter, and I have absolutely no inside knowledge, but if we're taking dates in the pool, I'm picking no earlier than July 2018 for the NE6, and there's a chance it might be a NE5X with expanded piano and sample memory to match the NS3.

I'm good for the next couple of years with my NE5D. I won't want/need a 6 unless there's some radical improvement. I've barely begun to plumb the depths of my 5. Go ahead and get the 5, TOmusic72 .

I have bought the NE5D some weeks ago and I think that's the right decision. Only alternative could be the Stage 3 compact, but it costs too much.

+1 to the the NE5D. My first experience with the Electro was 10+ years ago with an NE2. Back then, it was the perfect RhodesWurlyClavB3 ROM-ulator to complement my Lead 2X digisynth for live performance, bar none. I waited a decade... past the 3rd and 4th gen Electro's before upgrading to one recently.
With the 5D, improved memory space for loading the robust piano samples (Royal Grand 3D: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libr ... l-grand-3d) and Rhodes (Nefertiti: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libr ... ertiti-mki) plus drawbar control for organs and option to mount a half-moon Leslie switch underneath the lower-left region of the board like a B3, not to mention the ability to load your own pre-edited samples (or any of these samples: http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libr ... ibrary-2-0) it's totally worth it, imo.
