Is there some reason why the sus pedal doesn't hold/sustain organ patches on the Stage 2 EX ?
I've missed something simple here, no doubt
Searched the manual and on this site but couldn't find any explanation for it.
It works on my NE 3.

You need to enable it on the Organ section (usually it is disabled as real organs don't have that )... how to enable? It is in the manual of course, page 21 "PStick & SustPed" 
(Hint: look at the leds under Octave controls of the Organ section)
