Hi,

could someone please confirm that the "drawbar live" function works as intended? For me, it does not.
Manual quote: "The DRWB LIVE option can be used if you would like a particular Program to always use the actual positions of the drawbars"

My expectation would be that such a program syncs with the physical drawbar position on loading so there are no "surprises" when moving them.
However, that doesn't happen (neither program mode nor live mode).
Instead, on selecting a program with "drawbar live" enabled, I get a message "Drawbar: xxxxxxxxx" (with x being the hardware drawbar position), and the change indicator asterisk in the program name appears. However, neither the displayed DB position nor the sound engine use the xxxxxxxxx setting (e.g. 000000000 to make it obvious).
Am I misunderstanding something here, or is this a bug? If the former, what exactly is the purpose of the "drawbar live" mode?

Hey, I've been using the the DRWB LIVE function and it's working fine for me.

You have to be using PRESET 2 (above the BRWB LIVE led) rather than PRESET 1. I'll attach a photo of the way it is set up. Now, whenever I select this program, the drawbar setting changes to whatever the physical drawbars are set to.

I don't know if this is exactly how it is designed to be used, but it is exactly how I needed it to work.

It's actually quite logical, I just need to know it.

My proposed change to the manual (over "edition D"), page 7:
The DRWB LIVE option can be used if you would like a particular Program to always use the actual positions of the drawbars in preset 2.

Curiously, I had a club-scale "oops" yesterday when I took the NE5 out the first time and "888888888" on the drawbars bit me.
Oh well, no permanent injuries
