Hi,
On my Stage 2, for a song, I have an Arp in the Synth section, left hand (Split...). I have set up the Ext section on the same Slot to another Expander, but when I play the chords on the Stage 2, the expander doesn't play the Arpeggio, just the notes all together. Is it because Arp do not send midi in the Stage 2?.
Also, if I want to have another arpegiator on my NL2X, I need to sync it via midi to the one in the Stage 2 right? So, I set up the master clock of the NL2X to External midi in, right?
Never done that, any help?

On the first question: the NS2 the Arpeggiator is an internal function of the Synth that reacts to the notes you play, it will not generate additional MIDI notes on the Global or Extern section.

On the second, the NS2 does not send its Master Clock on MIDI OUT but can receive an External clock on its MIDI IN (when a clock-in is detected, the internal clock is automatically ignored and external is used), so you have to do the opposite i.e. let the NL2X be the Master (assuming that instead it sends the MIDI Clock out, otherwise... you need another clock source in your MIDI chain...)

Ok, thanks a lot, that's what I had figured out in searching the manual, just wanted to make sure. If the NL2X could just receive midi clock only, I might use the Prophet 08 as the master clock...I've never done any midi clock synchronization yet, might be funny, thanks again.
