But I can only record waves as "samples" or make split using 2 sounds, for example, to play Live ?

It is simple:
- on the NS you have 2 Synths A\B that you can assign to one of the 3 zones (Lo, Mid, Hi)
- each synth can play one .nsmp only
- the .nsmp itself can also be a "split" (if you use different waves for different parts of the keyboard when creating it, e.g. a bass and a piano or the "extreme case" of a drumset, with 1 different sound/wav per key) but of course in this case the split is fixed (i.e. "hard coded" in the .nsmp)
So it all depends on what you exactly want to do, on a specific case.
Suggestion: go and try, that is the easiest way to learn and see what you can and cannot actually do.
