This shouldn't be this difficult!
I just want to download a single patch (Overdrive B) into the Nord ED5!
I have it connected to the windows 10 PC.
I downloaded the Bank 4 from the website which contains the Overdrive B!
I click "sound download" on the Sound Manager which rejects my every move.
I have another window open with all the extracted files of Bank 4 including the Overdrive B!
Now it's telling me I need a free location to transfer this!! How do I make a location free!!!????? On the sound manager!

Re: Help with Sound Manager!!
The sound manager "manages" the sounds in your instrument, it is not a librarian listing tons of programs to choose from.
Delete a program so you can add the new one. But note that it will make the deleted one disappear from the instrument.

Hi
First of, make sure you have the latest Sound manager installed, and also check that your Electro are on the latest OS.
Then you also have to disable the write protect on your Electro. nord-electro-forum-f9/5d-activating-memory-ability-t9148.html

Re: Help with Sound Manager!!
I kind of found a way to get that patch back in the keyboard. I thought this thing had all kinds of memory storage? In order to add new sounds I have to delete from the factory sounds?

Hmm, my recollection is that fewer than half of the 400 program locations had factory patches in them from the factory.
The sample memory (piano and sample synth) is a different story.
