On the NORD LEAD 2X is it possible to take a PROGRAM and and just modify it so that it sounds 7 SEMITONES above the the original PROGRAM?
Say for example PROGRAM 1.41 Soft Strings2.

What parameters would you change?

Pitch-Shifting it 5 semitones down and Octave-Shifting it 1 oktave higher?

No, simply shift the pitch of both oscillators with the Tune knobs, and save the program in the new pitch.

That's exactly the same thing as using a Transpose button... That's why synths usually don't have one: because they don't need it.

EDIT:
Sorry, just realized that in the 2X you can only tune Osc 2 relative to the fixed basic tune of Osc1. So I'm afraid there's no solution to your problem, unless you are willing to turn the mixer knob fully right, so you hear only Osc2 that can be tuned at will.

But in that way, you'll be limited to using only single-oscillator programs. Could work or not, depending on your needs (simple pads or strings can be perfectly satisfactory even with a single oscillator), but I think it's the only way.

Thanks, That has worked.. Although the semitone knob is very sensitive but I managed to use a Tuning App to work out how to achieve 7 semitones.
