NE5D - Splitting keyboard with 2 diffrerent synth sounds?
Can this be done? And, if so, how? Thanks!

The only way to do this is to resample using Nord Sample editor and create a new .nsmp file that is itself a split.

Is there a forum reference that will instruct me on how to accomplish that? Thanks!

I'd look at this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1pYtxWn0_A
Then look carefully at pp 4-6 of the NSE manual:
http://www.nordkeyboards.com/sites/defa ... on%202.pdf
The .nsmp he makes in the video is a simple sample instrument with one sample in it; you want to create a new sample instrument with multiple samples and the split key map you want. Two samples would make a simple split, you can do up to 91 samples in a single .nsmp file if you want to create a drum machine type keyboard mapping.

Re: NE5D - Splitting keyboard with 2 diffrerent synth sounds
This is extremely new and foreign to me. The two synth samples that I want to have on my split keyboard are the marimba sample Marimba _ ST Mono 2.0 & the P5 Sauce with the marimba on the bottom. Hence, I am not looking to recreate these sounds, rather do what needs to be done to incorporate the samples that already exist. It seems that the editor is looking to add "wave" files and I don't think that's what I have. Perhaps someone would create this program for me as a reasonable cost

And I'm telling you what has to be done to create an .nsmp file with multiple sounds is to resample them (I.e. rerecord the samples). You can create .wavs of those samples by hooking up your keyboard to your computer and playing notes into recording software (you could use Audacity, which is free) just the way the guy plays the bells into the mic in the video.
Unfortunately there is no way to splice together two existing .nsmp files together without resampling them.
