Re: Stuck in set list mode?
I had no problem with OS1.40 at all. The computer-trick also works when double clicking a song/program or sample to instantly change your keyboard.

Re: Stuck in set list mode?
I haven't had any more issues. I think I might have upgraded the OS when I was in Setlist mode, so maybe this is a one-off problem. In any case, I was able to use Nord Sound Manager 6.90 to click my way out of Setlist mode. I've turned it on and off about ten times since then -- no problems. Hope this helps!

Perhaps it was 'Murphy's law?'

Re: Stuck in set list mode?
Licketysplit is right. Powering down, or any OS system reboot in Setlist mode (for instance when updating the OS), freezes the SetList button into the "On" position. I can recreate this problem %100 of the time -- so it's not intermittent for me. I cannot predictably get out of "Setlist mode" as Licketysplit describes, but maybe that's me. I can %100 of the time get out of the problem by connecting my laptop, start Nord Sound Manager, and then by selecting (double-clicking) any sample sound in the program bank. The I only thing I have to add is that it's related to a reboot of Nord's operating system (maybe Linux? -- I sure don't know), and restarting the OS always occurs during a power off and a power on -- and when an update occurs. So the circumvention is simple: don't power off in Setlist mode and don't update in Setlist mode. Try remembering that when you've had a great gig and people are coming up to talk to you afterward! That happens to me every once in awhile. I'm OK with problems that can be recreated and problems that have a circumvention. It's the intermittent problems that drive me crazy. I recommend upgrading to 1.40, as long as you remember the above. It might also be related to the mainboard version inside the Electro. I bought mine in December, 2016.
