Hey all
I have slowly been building my synth collection and with the new addition to my prophet 08, i wanted to add a Nord to the list =D.
I mainly have been producing Trance/House/Hardstyle music with a little of Cinematic Scores and Ambient music just to take advantage of some of these synths! I was wondering which would be better for me the Nord Lead 3 or the Nord Lead 2. I found it odd that the Nord do not have internal reverb or delay fx but it should not be a huge deal, also which of the Nords have the most material out for them such as soundsets/Presets and such? I have noticed that there is a good amount for the Nord Lead 3 but the other Nords seems like not to much out there.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to your responses!

Re: Looking to buy my first Nord Lead, 3 vs 2?
First of all, if you want to take a look at the features, I compiled a detailed comparison table between all the Lead models

The Lead 2/2X (they are exactly the same instrument, except for expanded memory and polyphony on the 2X) have been the most successful and long-lived Leads, you can find thousands of programs, both free and for purchase.
Take a look here

You have almost 3000 free programs among the various links

Hi,
Congrats on your Lead 2, I did the same. After good advices from Pablo, and knowing that I could use some of my guitar pedals, I found an Anniversary model on ebay, just like the Packrat. The black keys were also a big one for me. Below is the link with pictures of pedals on my 2X.
