This is most likely a query that’s come up before, but the other posts I’ve found are hard to interpret because they refer to specific items of gear which I have no knowledge of. I write my own software so I can provide whatever input is required.

Is it possible to send a control change (volume in my case) to Midi In, and have it repeated out on the external MIDI channel, while the external channel is enabled? I can’t make it work, just require a Yes or No to decide whether to persist with config settings or give up.

I know about sending a volume message on program loading, that’s not what I want.

Keyboard is Nord Stage2 Ex, OS 2.10.

Only notes can be forwarded, check the "Extern Section and MIDI re-routing" paragraph in the NS2Ex manual
