This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

I don't run my music apps on a mid-2000's laptop :-)

My point was only a developer point of view, building such an app may not be cost effective for a small shop such as Nord, at this moment in time.

It's a bigger platform than the Mac...

I really could have used this yesterday.

The iPad Air 2 is about as fast as a 2010 MacBook Pro.

I use Set List Maker.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the Nord Sound Manager...as discussed in the thread you're replying to...

If someone could develop a small module that maybe used a smartphone for the display that contained all the Nord libraries and the Sound Manager and ran it with Raspberry Pi they would sell a shitload of them.

Well, why not using one of those Win10 cheap 7" tablets instead, has anyone tried?

The iPad connected to the nord electro would be wonderful. I have the NE5D 61 and an iPad mini 2. I use Setlistmaker, but only as a stand-alone "sheet-prompter". At the moment I could only link it to the nord via iRig Midi 2 or a similar interface, but as I don't like another cable on stage I don't use this opportunity.

My great wish is that the nord keyboards would be able to receive USB and Midi data via bluetooth or WiFi for all the good things like Soundmanager and Setlistmaker. Then I think would it be only short time until apps like the roland vr09-editor will be programmed by someone for the nord. Maybe I could help myself with TB Midi Stuff ...

How nice future could be ... in 2017.

What about one of the available bluetooth MIDI plugs? Set List Maker natively supports MIDI over Bluetooth (I use it to switch patches on the Mac running Mainstage).

Of course, that doesn't address the issue asked by this thread, but as you mentioned it...
